Mater is seeking an experienced Diabetes Dietitian Educator to join the Dietetics and Foodservices team at our South Brisbane campus for a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role.

The position focuses on education and self-management for people with diabetes across inpatients and outpatients, including gestational diabetes within Mater’s model of care. Expect collaboration across multidisciplinary teams with service development.

Qualifikationen

• Post graduate qualification in diabetes education and management accredited by ADEA.
• Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE) or eligible for credentialing and actively participating in an ADEA-approved mentoring pathway toward credentialing.
• Experience providing diabetes self-management education to individuals and groups living with diabetes across one or more populations, with the capacity to develop capability across broader diabetes services.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex diabetes-related nutrition issues.
• Completion of training to deliver an accredited flexible insulin adjustment program such as DAFNE or equivalent.
