Job summary

Regis Resources is seeking an experienced Dewatering Technician to join the Duketon operation. You will manage day-to-day watering equipment and monitor water requirements on site. The role is FIFO with an 8:6 roster from Perth.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining pumps, relevant machinery tickets, and a current WA Class C Manual Driver’s Licence. Regis offers a collaborative environment and competitive salary with incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and maintaining pumps.
• Current machinery tickets (HR, IT Loader, Telehandler, Excavator).
• Valid WA Driver’s Licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site water supplies, operation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot pump and piping issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Construct and monitor dewatering infrastructure (wells, pipelines, meters, gauges).
• Install bore pump systems and bypasses.
• Repair water pipelines and fuel/servicing pumping equipment.

Job Description

The opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Dewatering Technician to join the team at our Duketon operation. Reporting to the Dewatering Supervisor,you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day watering equipment of the site and monitor the water requirements.

This is a FIFO role (8:6 roster) fromPerth.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Monitoring site water supplies, operation, and maintenance
• Troubleshooting pump and piping issues and performing routine maintenance
• Constructing, monitoring, and maintaining dewatering infrastructure (e.g. wells, pipelines, meters, pressure gauges)
• Installing bore pump systems and bypasses
• Repairing water pipelines (including polywelding if required)
• Fuelling and servicing pumping equipment

To be successful for this role, you will have:

• Experience in operating and maintaining pumps
• Relevant machinery tickets (e.g. IT loader, Telehandler, Excavator, HR)
• A current WA Class C Manual Driver’s Licence
