Job summary

Glencore International AG operates Clermont Open Cut and seeks a dewatering/pump operator to support day-to-day dewatering tasks. You will monitor pumps, inspect equipment and ensure safe, compliant operations under SHMS.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in large mining, a current Australian driver’s license, and experience with diesel pumping systems and poly pipelines. FIFO or residential options apply, with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in large mining operation.
• Strong safety focus and ability to follow site procedures and permit systems.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dewatering/pumping equipment and infrastructure.
• Monitor water levels, flows, and pump performance; respond to site conditions.
• Complete pre-starts, hazard identification, and required documentation.
• Work collaboratively within crews to support safe, continuous operations.
