Job summary

EML is seeking a DevOps Lead in Sydney to drive automation, strengthen cloud infrastructure and accelerate software delivery across AWS, Azure and on-premise environments.

You will lead a growing DevOps team, shape engineering standards and partner with AI, infrastructure and security specialists to deliver secure, scalable solutions that improve outcomes for our clients in workers' compensation and beyond.

Qualifications

• Leading, supervising or mentoring a technical team.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting and prioritisation skills.
• Security-focused with cloud security and disaster recovery awareness.
• Experience in AWS/Azure hybrid environments and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the DevOps team, setting engineering standards and coaching.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible across AWS/Azure/VMware.
• Manage Kubernetes environments and containerised apps, ensuring security and availability.
• Strengthen monitoring, observability and incident response to improve performance.
• Collaborate with AI, infrastructure and security teams to improve delivery workflows.
