Job summary

Recmatrix Consulting in Sydney is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms. You will focus on AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD, and cloud automation, with exposure to Azure and emerging AI/LLM technologies.

Responsibilities include designing AWS infrastructure with IaC, managing EKS environments, building CI/CD pipelines, automating provisioning, and ensuring security and cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on AWS experience: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, EKS.
• Strong Terraform and IaC experience.
• Kubernetes and Docker hands-on experience.
• CI/CD, scripting, and automation using Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform/IaC.
• Build, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes and EKS environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve cloud performance, reliability, security, and cost.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and architecture teams.
