Job summary

Canstar in Brisbane is seeking a hands-on Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to own cloud reliability, scalability, and deployment pipelines. You’ll provision infrastructure as code, maintain core networks, and implement automated CI/CD using Terraform or CloudFormation and Kubernetes, collaborating with development squads to enable fast, safe releases.

This role focuses on observability, incident response, and self-service tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a DevOps/SysOps/CloudOps environment with hands-on AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
• Strong scripting for automation (Python or Bash).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, patch and optimize multi-environment cloud infrastructure for reliability and uptime.
• Monitor core networking, firewalls and redundant cloud connections.
• Build, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines and IaC blueprints.
• Collaborate with software teams to embed DevOps practices and runbooks.
