Job summary

Accenture is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Senior Analyst in Sydney/Canberra to design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, manage deployments, and work with cloud platforms and container orchestration. The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and securing DevOps practices to support scalable operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment frequency, reliability, and performance, while adhering to security and governance standards in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• 2+ years’ experience in DevOps or similar roles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation.
• Cloud platforms experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting in PowerShell or Bash.
• Strong problem-solving in fast-paced delivery environments.
• Australian Citizens with active baseline security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Manage build, release, and deployment processes across environments.
• Collaborate with development and operations to improve deployment frequency and reliability.
• Implement infrastructure as code and automate provisioning.
• Monitor performance, availability, and incident response.
• Support cloud platforms and containerised environments for scalable operations.
• Apply security, compliance, and governance controls within pipelines.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Drive continuous DevOps improvements and automation.
• Align applications/infrastructure with SLAs.
