Job summary

OpenTalent in Brisbane is seeking a hands-on Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability, and deployments. You will operate within the Infrastructure Management team to help our development squads move fast, deploy safely, and troubleshoot effectively.

In this role you will provision infrastructure as code, optimize deployment pipelines, and contribute to a modern engineering culture. You will help shape how we scale our infra going forward.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multi-environment cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Monitor networking, firewalls, and redundant connections across clouds.
• Enforce high-availability configurations and operational best practices.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate safe deployments.
• Author reusable IaC templates with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps guardrails.
• Create runbooks and self-service docs for engineers.
• Respond to incidents with timely remediation and post-incident reviews.
