Job summary

Change Recruitment is working with a leading technology consultancy seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their Melbourne team, focused on AWS environments and a growing emphasis on GenAI and Agentic AI workloads.

You will build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure, develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and manage Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) in AWS.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS core services and architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS/EKS.
• DevOps and Platform Engineering background.
• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.

We are working with a leading technology consultancy who is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team, working across modern AWS environments with a growing focus on Generative and Agentic AI.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud, platform engineering and AI, helping build the infrastructure and engineering foundations needed to support modern applications and emerging AI workloads.

We are seeking someone with a strong background across DevOps and Platform Engineering who enjoys being hands-on with cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD and containerised environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building and maintaining scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure
• Developing and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Building and managing environments through Infrastructure as Code
• Supporting containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Driving automation across infrastructure and platform engineering
• Working across cloud security, IAM and platform best practices
• Supporting the deployment of GenAI and Agentic AI workloads
• Working with Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore components
• Collaborating with engineering and AI teams to take solutions into production

What We're Looking For:

Strong hands-on experience across:

• AWS and its core cloud services
• CI/CD – GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar
• Infrastructure as Code – particularly Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Docker & Kubernetes, ideally within AWS/EKS environments
• Previous DevOps and Platform Engineering experience
• Knowledge or experience with Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore
• Scripting and automation using Python, Bash or Go
• A strong understanding of cloud security and modern engineering practices
• Exposure to observability, monitoring, incident management and on‑call tooling such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus or PagerDuty would be beneficial but isn't essential.

The ideal person will be a strong AWS-focused engineer who understands how modern platforms are built and automated, while also being excited about the shift towards GenAI and agentic applications in production.
