Job summary

TheDriveGroup is hiring an AWS DevOps Engineer to join a well-funded tech startup backed by a major global enterprise. You will work on GenAI projects, with exposure to AWS SageMaker and Bedrock, and help shape the platform and DevOps capability as it evolves.

The DevOps team will be brought in-house and you’ll collaborate closely with engineers across AI/ML, Backend and Frontend. The role is based in Sydney with 3 days in the office, a 12-month contract with extension potential, and a two-stage

Job description

I'm hiring an AWS DevOps Engineer to join a well-funded technology startup backed by a major global enterprise.

This is a chance to work on genuinely interesting GenAI projects, with exposure to AWS SageMaker and Bedrock, while having a real say in how the platform and DevOps capability evolves

The DevOps function is being brought in-house, so you’ll work closely with a seriously strong engineering team across AI/ML, Backend and Frontend

What we're looking for:

• Python or Bash automation
• DevSecOps, observability & cloud security

The team is a great mix of startup, scale-up and enterprise engineers. They’re collaborative, technically strong and have joined because they want more ownership, influence and impact over what they're building.

3 days in office

12 month contract with opportunity for extension
