Job summary

Nisus Australia seeks 2 experienced DevOps Engineers to support an Australian Federal Government client in Canberra. You will assist the infrastructure team on a major program, design and secure Azure cloud services, and collaborate with senior stakeholders while sharing knowledge across the team.

You must be an Australian Citizen with AGSVA NV1 clearance. This is a long-term contract in Canberra with extensions possible.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with DevOps in complex data and analytics platforms, minimum 5 years.
• Proven ability to facilitate business processes to deliver new capabilities including design, governance, and documentation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Administration and Azure DevOps/DevSecOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration.
• Developing and maintaining IaC scripts using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell and YAML.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties, including senior stakeholders.


• Share technical knowledge across the team.

You must be an Australian Citizen and hold minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance to apply.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in utilising DevOps in complex data and analytics platforms - minimum 5 years


• Proven ability to facilitate business processes to enhance and deliver new capabilities, including system design, development, modelling, governance, and documentation - minimum 5 years


• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud Administration and Azure DevOps/DevSecOps


• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux administration


• Developing and maintaining IaC scripts using Ansible/Powershell/Terraform/YAML

Contract duration: Long term contract, initially 12 months plus 2 x 12 months extensions.
