Job summary

Macquarie University Sports and Aquatics Centre (MUSAC) invites applications for a full-time Development Swimming Coach to lead junior development within the Swim Squad program at North Ryde. You will design seasonal training plans, coach across multiple sessions, and guide swimmers from Learn to Swim through junior competition levels.

The role requires delivering coaching sessions, coordinating events, and maintaining progression records while collaborating with the Head Coach and Age Group

Qualifications

• Experience coaching in a competitive squad development environment.
• Ability to develop swimmers of varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face training for the 14 & Under Development program.
• Develop and implement seasonal training plans for junior swimmers.
• Provide stroke correction guidance and competition training plans.
• Attend and coach at club races and internal events.
• Maintain records of swimmers’ progression and respond to enquiries.
