Job summary

Belgravia Leisure invites applications for a motivated Swim Squad Coach at our NSW Moss Vale location. You will develop junior and senior athletes within current squads and work to grow squad numbers throughout the year.

The role requires energy, professionalism and a passion for aquatic education. You will deliver Belgravia Leisure aquatic programs, maintain safety standards, and support participation in the local Swimming Club.

Qualifications

• Teacher of Competitive Swimming / Competitive Strokes certification is required.
• Bronze level Qualification is preferred.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• National Police Check completed or able to obtain.
• Previous coaching experience with demonstrable results.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to develop the squad program and pathway to outcomes.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations of the squad program per guidelines.
• Actively promote the squad program and participation in the Swimming Club.
• Maintain required qualifications and conduct all activities safely.
• Monitor swimmer progression and identify talents for additional development.
• Encourage participation in swimming competitions in a safe environment.
