Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a Development Landscape Architect to deliver high-quality technical advice on landscape architecture for development proposals, conduct compliance inspections, and engage with the community to enhance the urban environment.

You will support implementing programs and policies aligned with the Council's objectives, promoting sustainable landscape development and strong community involvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in landscape architecture or related field.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing landscape plans for large or sensitive sites.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice on landscape matters for development proposals.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with development approvals and deliver quality outcomes.
• Contribute to the Council's street tree planting program and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Engage in project teams to support planning policies and procedures.
