Randstad is recruiting a Development Manager for a global luxury property developer. Based in Queensland, you will oversee high-density residential and mixed-use projects across NSW & QLD, from acquisition through delivery, handover and settlement, leading a small team and coordinating with executives, consultants and authorities.

The role demands 10+ years in Australian property development, strong planning and statutory expertise, sharp financial acumen and outstanding stakeholder management,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Australian property development, with luxury/high-rise/mixed-use experience.
• Strong planning expertise across NSW and Queensland frameworks and DA processes.
• Financial acumen with development feasibilities and risk management.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in property/urban disciplines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and local networks.

Responsibilities

• Feasibility & acquisition: due diligence, financial modeling, yield analysis, investment proposals.
• Planning & approvals: manage complex approvals across NSW/QLD with councils and authorities.
• Design & consultant management: coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure luxury brand alignment.
• Budget & programme: track timelines and development budgets, report variances to leadership.
• Delivery & sustainability: drive ESG outcomes, support certification and completion processes.
• Team leadership: mentor assistants and coordinators to grow the pipeline.
