Richmond Valley Council is seeking a Development Assessment Planner for a term contract in Casino. The role focuses on processing and determining Development Applications, with professional planning advice and collaboration across teams to achieve timely outcomes.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Development Assessment Planner to join our team on a term contract and contribute to the delivery of quality planning outcomes across the Richmond Valley region.
The primary purpose of this role is to process, assess and determine Development Applications in accordance with statutory provisions, Council planning documents, policies and guidelines. You will provide professional planning advice and work collaboratively with internal teams, applicants and the community to support timely, consistent and effective development assessment outcomes.
You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team committed to achieving positive outcomes for our growing region, while gaining valuable local government planning experience within the diverse and vibrant Richmond Valley community.
