Job summary

Perigon Group is seeking a Development Accountant to support a sizeable pipeline in a newly-created role. This established private property developer is well-capitalised and city-based, offering stability and room to grow.

Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with development managers on budgeting, forecasting and reporting, oversee full project accounting (P&L and balance sheet), drive cost controls and cashflow forecasting in ARGUS Estate Master, and manage drawdowns and funding.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified accountant with extensive property development experience.
• Background in project accounting and/or development accounting required.
• Experience across multi-stage and multi-site developments preferred.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with development managers on budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Oversee full lifecycle project accounting (P&L and balance sheet) for multiple projects.
• Drive cost tracking and analyse project profitability to support decisions.
• Perform cost controls and cashflow forecasting using ARGUS Estate Master.
• Administer drawdowns, settlements, funding and compliance.
• Handle ad hoc reporting, tax compliance and process improvements.
