Job summary

Automall Mt Gravatt Hub is seeking a reliable Pre-Delivery Assistant to support vehicle delivery and yard operations across multiple brands. This hands-on role focuses on preparing sold vehicles for handover, ensuring the presentation and safety standards are met, and assisting with stock control and general pre-delivery tasks.

You will have a current Australian driver's licence and the ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.

• Experience in automotive yard operations or vehicle preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sold vehicles for customer handover and delivery.
• Move vehicles safely within the dealership and yard areas.
• Fit registration plates to new and used vehicles.
• Carry out final presentation and quality checks prior to delivery.
• Wash and wipe down vehicles to ensure delivery readiness.
• Assist with stock control and yard organisation.
• Support sales and delivery teams with pre-delivery activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

With a strong focus on customer experience and vehicle presentation, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Pre-Delivery Assistant to support our vehicle delivery and yard operations teams.

About the Role

This hands-on role is focused on the preparation of sold vehicles prior to customer delivery while supporting the day-to-day operations of the yard across multiple automotive brands.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing sold vehicles for customer handover
• Moving vehicles safely throughout the dealership and yard areas
• Fitting registration plates to new and used vehicles
• Carrying out final presentation and quality checks prior to delivery
• Washing and wiping down vehicles to ensure they are delivery-ready
• Assisting with vehicle stock control and yard organisation
• Supporting sales and delivery teams with general pre-delivery activities
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

While some vehicle cleaning is required, the primary focus of the role is preparing sold vehicles for delivery and ensuring every handover experience exceeds customer expectations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current and valid Australian driver's licence
• Confidence driving and manoeuvring a range of vehicles
• A strong eye for detail and pride in your work
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
• Previous automotive, yard, vehicle preparation or dealership experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
