Job summary

Mornington Peninsula Shire is seeking a casual role based at the Briars and Police Point to support education programs for visitors. The position pays Band 4 at $38.01 per hour plus a 25% casual loading (excl.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years’ experience in the development and delivery of programs for visitors.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to engage with visitors and stakeholders.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work in a busy, customer-facing environment.
Tertiary qualifications in learning programs, interpretation, tourism or events are desirable.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and delivery of education programs, school holiday activities and onsite activations for visitors and larger groups.
Assist at the Visitor Centre and Briars Homestead with customer service including calls and emails and visitor enquiries.
Assist with the delivery of events and festivals, including visitor servicing and onsite operations.
Model the Shire’s vision and values in daily work.
