Job summary

PrixCar Services in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Vehicle Processing Assistant to support wharf movement, vehicle handling and administrative tasks in a busy depot.

You will join a team focused on safety, accuracy and timely dispatch; training provided and opportunities to grow within the business. Duties include inspecting vehicles, assisting transport planners, supporting drivers, and maintaining records with basic Excel/IT skills.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.
• Automotive mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• People person with a can-do attitude who is passionate, energetic and shows initiative.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for cars and willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Support timely completion of wharf movement.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably directed by management.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to task.
• Assist with general administrative duties associated with vehicle processing, including maintaining records, updating systems and completing required paperwork
• Basic knowledge of Excel and general computer systems.
• Ability to replace or adjust loads.
• Provide support to the transport planners.
• Assist drivers with queries or operational support when required.
• Safe maneuvering of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
• Inspect incoming vehicles for damage and report as required
• Survey Vehicles and complete company required documentation and compliance
• Following the daily despatchschedule to ensure on time customer order fulfilment
• Retrieving designated vehicles from yard area and driving them to the required load bays
• Wash vehicles and carry out entry level car detailing
