Job summary

PrixCar Services is seeking a Yard Hand to join the Vehicle Processing Team at the Wishart facility. You will assist in preparing new vehicles for delivery, fit aftermarket accessories, check for damage, and perform storage preservation tasks.

Key duties include inspecting vehicles, safe vehicle movement, washing, and completing required paperwork. A valid driver’s license (min. 3 years) and attention to detail are essential. Full-time role with early starts and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license (minimum 3 years).
• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in vehicle washing and presentation.

Responsibilities

The Position:

As a result of recent growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join our Vehicle Processing Team, at our brand new facility in Wishart.

As a Yard Hand, you will enjoy a variety of tasks in preparing new vehicles for delivery. This may include fitting aftermarket accessories, checking vehicles for damage, completing storage preservation activities and other general yard duties.

What you will do:

• Inspection of vehicles to identify damage and missing parts or accessories
• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
• Undertake vehicle survey and preservation tasks
• Washing cars
• Complete associated documentation

What you will bring:

• Driver license (min. 3 years) essential
• Strong attention to detail & safety first mindset
• Understand working of parts and components
• Experience in the use of hand and power tools
• Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift/handle automotive parts (sports bars, bumper bars etc.)
• Strong interest in the automotive industry
• Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experienced in vehicle washing and presentation

Nice to have:

• Experience in vehicle accessory fitments
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude advantageous
• Current MSIC card
