Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Desktop Support Officer to deliver Level 1/2 IT support across our facilities. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, deploy endpoint devices, and coordinate software updates in a large Windows environment.
The role requires travel across SLHD facilities, with emphasis on customer service and effective communication. Relevant IT qualifications and scripting experience are highly regarded.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Officer to join our EUS team. This role is responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and delivering reliable IT services across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting enterprise desktop environments, including Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft SCCM. Key responsibilities include providing desktop, laptop, and peripheral support; deploying, configuring, and maintaining endpoint devices; managing software deployments, operating system imaging, and application updates; and ensuring a high level of customer service and user satisfaction.
Candidates should possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused IT support environment. Relevant IT qualifications and experience with endpoint management and desktop support technologies will be highly regarded.
This position provides support to all hospitals within SLHD and will require travelling across facilities.
