Saltair is seeking a Designer/Draftsperson to join our Sunshine Coast–based design team, focusing on residential modular homes. You’ll use Revit daily and contribute to detailed drawings and schedules that meet NCC and Australian standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years’ Revit experience, housing experience, and a background in residential design. Australian local experience is essential, with strong communication and collaborative skills in a creative environment.

• Minimum 2 years of Australian local experience.
• Proficiency in other design software (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD) is a plus.

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a talented and motivated Designer/Draftsperson to join our creative team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in residential design and a passion for modular construction.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of our design team, you will:

• Collaborate with clients to guide them through the design journey, from initial concepts to fully detailed, construction-ready drawings and schedules.
• Produce accurate and detailed documentation that complies with the NCC, Australian Standards, and relevant state and local planning requirements.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure efficient and quality outcomes.
• Coordinate with consultants as required to support project delivery.
• Contribute to team development, continuously improving design workflows and systems.

Who You Are

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience using Revit in a professional setting.
• Housing experience—essential for this role.
• Residential design or architectural background—highly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Australian local experience—essential.
• Proficiency in other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArchiCAD) is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills—able to thrive in a collaborative, creative environment.
