Job summary

Australind Senior High School seeks a creative Design and Technology teacher to join its team. You will engage students in a range of contexts within the Technologies Learning Area, delivering programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum and WA education requirements.

The role involves planning and assessing learning, contributing to RTO offerings such as MEM24133, and maintaining a safe, student-centred classroom environment that supports high achievement in ATAR/VET pathways.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Australian Curriculum planning, delivery and assessment.
• Familiarity with WA Certificate of Education (WACE) courses of study.
• Experience with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) scope, notably MEM24133.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Design and Technology programs across the Technologies Learning Area.
• Contribute to Australian Curriculum planning, delivery and assessment in consultation with the Technologies team.
• Create a safe, positive learning environment and promote student-centred curriculum delivery.
• Support curriculum delivery at Australind SHS and in line with RTO offerings.
