Job summary

Australind Senior High School in Western Australia is seeking a creative and proactive Design and Technology teacher to join our Technologies team. You will deliver engaging programs across the Technologies Learning Area, aligning with the Australian Curriculum and WA WACE requirements, and support students to reach their potential.

This permanent full-time appointment commences Term 1, 2027. A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable; experience with RTO offerings such as

Qualifications

• Qualified Design and Technology teacher with WA registration.
• Experience with Australian Curriculum planning, delivery and assessment.
• Familiarity with Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, student-centred learning.
• Current TAE40116 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of Technologies learning area programs.
• Plan and assess using Australian Curriculum and WACE requirements.
• Collaborate with Technologies team to tailor student learning.
• Promote safe, supportive learning environments.
