Job summary

Kiara College seeks an experienced Design and Technology teacher to inspire students and deliver innovative programs across year levels. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and learning is essential, with inclusive practice and effective classroom management.

The role involves delivering lower and upper school Design and Technologies subjects, including Wood and Building & Construction, and integrating ICT into lessons. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experienced and passionate Design and Technology teacher with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
• Sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum.
• Experience developing and delivering the curriculum using a wide range of teaching models.
• Inclusive approach with strong teaching and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lower school programs across Design and Technologies.
• Deliver upper school programs in Materials, Design & Technology: Wood and Building & Construction.
• Use information and communication technologies to support teaching of Design and Technologies.
• Cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment for students.
