Job summary

lution pty ltd, in partnership with Australia''s leading wholesale business, seeks a Design Studio Lead to steer our in-house studio. You will balance hands-on design with workflow leadership, coordinating onshore and offshore designers to deliver packaging, catalogue, print, digital, POS, eCommerce, and retail assets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in graphic or packaging design.
• Proven team leadership across onshore and offshore designers.
• Traffic management experience using Monday.com or similar.
• Experience in fast-paced retail and/or FMCG packaging production.
• Strong knowledge of packaging formats, print production, and AU/NZ packaging compliance.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the studio, triaging work and coordinating with onshore/offshore resources.
• Mentor and develop a team of designers with clear briefs and feedback.
• Manage priorities, capacity planning, and delivery timelines across projects.
• Partner with retail, marketing, digital, and merchandising teams.
• Translate seasonal direction into production-ready assets and support localization.
• Maintain quality and consistency across outputs.
• Provide hands-on design support for complex briefs.
• Develop scalable processes and embed AI-enabled workflows.
• Oversee packaging, catalogue, print collateral, and digital assets.
