Job summary

Talent Butler in Sydney is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design process for high-rise residential projects, including a $120m development on Sydney’s lower north shore. You will coordinate external architects, consultants and internal teams to ensure design excellence from concept through construction and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Class 2 high-rise residential projects.
• Strong understanding of apartment design, documentation and construction.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process across high-rise residential projects.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants and specialist design teams.
• Manage design development from concept through planning, documentation and construction.
• Drive design outcomes that balance quality, functionality and costs.
• Review design documentation and resolve design issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage design programs, budgets, consultant deliverables and milestones.
• Work with construction and development teams to ensure seamless delivery from design to handover.
• Identify opportunities to improve design outcomes, project efficiency and value.
