Job summary

1Recruit International Pty is seeking an experienced Design Manager for a landmark pre-construction phase on the Gold Coast. You will own the design process, coordinating multiple towers and a mix-use program from concept through planning and documentation.

The role requires strong leadership, high-rise design experience and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants and stakeholders to meet programme and budget objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience leading design on large-scale residential, mixed-use or commercial developments.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development across allocated stages and towers.
• Coordinate architects, engineers and consultants through the design lifecycle.
• Ensure design milestones align with programme, budget and objectives.
• Facilitate design reviews and drive buildability improvements.
• Support approvals and value engineering during pre-construction.
• Maintain design governance and document control.
