Arup is seeking a Design/Project Director to lead major transport infrastructure programs in Western Australia. You will oversee design coordination, technical quality, client satisfaction and commercial performance across the full project lifecycle, from conception to construction support.

You will drive work-winning strategies, manage budgets, risks and contracts, and mentor teams while strengthening relationships with clients and delivery partners to pursue future opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Must have recognised tertiary qualifications in civil or structural engineering and be a Chartered member or be willing to obtain.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams on major transport infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering via Alliance and Design & Construct procurement models.
• Strong client and partner relationship skills and ability to mentor others.
• Demonstrated capability in work winning, contract negotiation and program management.

Aufgaben

• Lead bidding, design and delivery of large transport infrastructure projects with cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Own project commercial outcomes including contract negotiation, scope, programme and profitability.
• Build senior client and partner relationships and represent Arup credibly.
• Provide leadership, coaching and feedback to project teams and develop capability for future opportunities.
• Contribute to WA business performance through strategic thinking and collaborative leadership.
