Job summary

DCOH is looking for a Design Coordination professional to support the delivery of design documentation across the project lifecycle. The role collaborates with the Design Manager, consultants and on-site teams to ensure accurate, compliant and buildable information aligned with schedules.

Ideal candidates have tertiary qualifications in related fields and 3–5 years in design coordination or project documentation within construction, with strong organizational and communication skills and

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Three to five years’ experience in design coordination or project documentation within construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing and key trades.
• Knowledge of BCA, NCC and relevant Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and issue of design documentation per project timelines.
• Review drawings for consistency, buildability and compliance.
• Lead design workshops and coordination sessions with consultants and subcontractors.
• Support authority and regulatory approvals processes and permit tracking.
• Maintain records of design drawings, revisions and specifications.
