Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics in Moorebank, NSW, is seeking a Deputy Shift Lead for our highly automated site. You will support the Shift Leader, coordinate daily maintenance and operations, and help maximise equipment availability in a 24/7 operation.

This hands-on leadership role requires technical expertise in automation and a proven ability to coach technicians, analyze diagnostics, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

Qualification in mechanical, electrical, automation, or mechatronics.
Experience in automated warehouses, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
Previous leadership or mentoring of technical teams in fast-paced environments.
Strong troubleshooting and analysis of equipment diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Support the Shift Leader in coordinating daily maintenance and operations.
Lead and coach technicians with hands-on guidance.
Respond to faults, outages, and escalations to maximise availability.
Monitor maintenance activities using the CMMS and report effectively.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
Support achievement of KPIs related to system performance and customer satisfaction.
