Job summary

Australian Department of Defence – Williamtown NSW is seeking an APS 6 Deputy Product Officer to support capability outcomes within the Lead-In Fighter Training System and ATTE.

You will work with military, APS and contractor personnel to manage governance, reporting and sustainment, while contributing to planning, risk management and the continuous improvement of product management practices to meet capability needs.

Qualifications

• Organised and motivated professional with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic environment.
• Experience or potential in product, project or asset management with focus on performance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of capability outcomes within Lead-In Fighter Training System and ATTE.
• Collaborate with Air Force, Navy stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to enhance war fighter readiness.
• Support governance, reporting and sustainment outcomes across programs.
• Contribute to enterprise management processes including risk, change, financial planning and performance reporting.
