St George Preca Parish Primary School is a dynamic, faith filled, multicultural community and has a current enrolment of 746 students. The school is located in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled relational Deputy Principal commencing at the beginning of the 2027 school year.

As we appoint our next Positions of Leadership, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled relational leader who is committed to improving whole-school outcomes by strengthening evidence-informed practice, community engagement, teacher confidence and capability, and consistency of practices across the school.

The Deputy Principal combines exceptional relational leadership with the ability to adapt to the ever changing needs of a school.

The Deputy Principal works collaboratively with other leaders to ensure alignment with the school's broader strategic priorities. The Deputy Principal grows the expertise, confidence and independence of teachers so that high-quality practices become embedded across the school.

This is an important leadership role within the broader leadership team. The full-time allocation enables the Deputy Principal to facilitate professional learning, support classroom pedagogy and lead best practice throughout the school. The contract is an ongoing teaching position with a 3-year Deputy Principal appointment. In discussion with the principal, the successful candidate will also take on additional portfolio areas (eg; Religious Education, Learning & Teaching, Mathematics, Literacy, Learning Diversity, Daily Organisation, Coaching/Mentoring, etc).
