Job summary

The Andersen Partnership, a well-established financial solutions provider, seeks an experienced Compliance Specialist to strengthen its Risk & Compliance function across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a hands-on role stepping in as Deputy MLRO, working with senior leadership on financial crime risk across corporate, funds, and capital markets client bases, with hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of AU and NZ AML/CTF regulatory requirements.
• ACAMS certification would be an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders independently.
• Meticulous, proactive, and a confident communicator.

Responsibilities

• Act as Deputy MLRO for AU/NZ entities.
• Advise on onboarding and risk assessments.
• Engage with financial crime and regulators.
• Conduct transaction monitoring and reviews.
• Support internal audit processes when needed.
• Deliver AML/CTF training across the business.
• Investigate compliance issues and respond to complaints.
• Prepare compliance reporting for senior stakeholders.
