Job summary

Impel Management in Sydney seeks a hands-on Compliance & Operations professional to partner with the Chief Operations Manager. You will own the AML/CTF program end-to-end while keeping the busy firm running smoothly in a hybrid work environment.

You will embed and mature AML/CTF, manage risk frameworks, support ad hoc projects, process improvement and supplier relationships. The role blends governance with practical delivery and offers sponsorship for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years in a compliance role with hands-on AML/CTF experience across banking, fintech or professional services.
• Advanced MS Excel skills required.
• Meticulous attention to detail with sound judgement on when to push back or escalate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and professional obligations, including AML/CTF requirements.
• Maintain and develop compliance and risk management frameworks.
• Provide AML/CTF guidance across the business and support the AMLCO.
