Job summary

Australian National University is seeking a Deputy Manager, Outreach and Communications within the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs in Canberra. The role leads strategic marketing, communications and outreach to showcase Asia-Pacific research, education and policy impact.

You will report to the School Manager and collaborate with academic leaders and professional staff to develop communication strategies, manage digital platforms and coordinate lectures, seminars and workshops.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic communications, marketing or outreach.
• Experience in higher education or complex organisations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic marketing, communications and outreach initiatives to showcase Asia-Pacific research, education and policy impact.
• Provide strategic advice and operational leadership across communications, digital platforms, events and public engagement activities.
• Develop and implement communication strategies that showcase the School’s research, education and policy contributions and manage its online presence.
