Job summary

Australian National University is seeking a Deputy Manager, Outreach and Communications to lead strategic marketing, communications and outreach initiatives that enhance the School’s profile, reputation and engagement.

Reporting to the School Manager and working closely with the Director, academic leaders and College Marketing and Communications team, this role provides strategic advice and operational leadership across communications, digital platforms, events and public engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and experience in strategic communications, marketing, outreach, digital engagement or a related field.
• Experience developing impactful communications strategies and managing digital platforms.
• Ability to create compelling content that enhances organisational profile and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic marketing, communications and outreach initiatives that enhance the School’s profile, reputation and engagement.
• Provide strategic advice and operational leadership across communications, digital platforms, events and public engagement activities.
• Develop and implement communication strategies that showcase the School’s research, education and policy contributions; manage online presence and lead outreach activities.
