Job summary

LSKD in Melbourne Central is seeking a Deputy Coach (Assistant Store Manager) to co-lead one of our top doors in Victoria. You will own the store’s visual story, coach the team, and drive brand growth while delivering an immersive community experience.

Work closely with the Head Coach, implementing retail strategies, managing daily operations, and upholding premium VM standards. This is a high-visibility role that blends creative execution with leadership development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in retail leadership with a track record of developing leaders.
• Experience leading Visual Merchandising and training teams in a fast-paced store.
• Strong decision-making, adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments.
• Solid understanding of budgets, sales forecasts and retail strategy.
• Able to work full-time on a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday roster.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive the store mission alongside the Head Coach and leadership team.
• Own weekly visual merchandising flips and local strategy execution.
• Coach and develop a world-class Educator team, fostering inclusivity.
• Deliver daily game plans with real-time feedback to improve performance.
• Develop product knowledge across fabrics, fits and styles for authentic education.
• Maintain store standards and back-of-house organization.
• Monitor KPIs (AOV, UPT, conversion) and provide actionable insights.

So... what does the world of a Deputy Coach look like?

• Support & Drive the Mission: Work side-by-side with the Head Coach and Deputy Coach to manage the business, execute retail strategy, and hit your store's growth goals.
• Lead Visual Merchandising & Local Strategy: Own weekly VM flips and execute ad hoc store adjustments tailored to your local community's needs, while continuously upskilling and coaching your team to maintain world-class VM standards.
• Build & Develop Your Team: Hand-pick, onboard, and develop a world-class team of Educators, creating an inclusive environment where differences are celebrated.
• Coach Your Team Daily: Run daily game plans and give real-time, constructive feedback that inspires the team to get 1% better every day.
• Be the Product Expert: Master our entire range of fabrics, fits, and styles, and ensure your team has the deep knowledge to educate our community authentically.
• Set the Standard: Own the standard of the store - from premium visual merchandising and flawless open/close routines to keeping the back-of-house organised and accountable.
• Know Your Numbers: Read your daily and weekly KPIs, track metrics like AOV, UPT, and conversion, and deliver sharp reflections with clear actions for improvement.
