Job summary

Return-It is seeking a Senior Team Member to oversee depot operations and ensure exceptional customer service as customers sort recyclables and receive accurate refunds. You will work 38 hours per week, including some weekends, supporting the Depot Manager to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires prior customer service experience, leadership of small teams, and proficiency with MS Teams, Outlook and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is highly preferred.
• Experience leading a small to medium team is desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Excel is expected.
• Positive, can-do attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Depot Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Ensure customers feel welcomed and assisted with recycling products.
• Lead a small team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Count containers and assist with manual handling as required.
• Sort recyclable items into correct categories and maintain order.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and hazards are reported.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop staff skills through training and coaching.
