Job summary

Kinetic is Australasia’s largest bus operator, seeking a hands-on Depot Supervisor for Wesley Vale Depot in Devonport to oversee daily operations and lead a team of drivers. This is an exciting leadership opportunity with a company committed to safety, service and community.

You will drive scheduling, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, handle payroll-related tasks, and work with internal teams to deliver safe, reliable transport and excellent service with opportunities for career

Qualifications

Experience leading teams in an operational environment.
Strong decision-making and adaptability to changing circumstances.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Current HR licence or willingness to obtain one (bus driving).
Working with Children Check and First Aid & CPR certificates or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support bus drivers to deliver reliable services.
Oversee scheduling, absentee management, and resource planning.
Ensure services meet safety standards and fatigue regulations.
Manage payroll-related queries and admin tasks.
Maintain safety culture and respond to incidents.
Foster a high-performance team focused on customer service.
Ensure depot presentation, fleet cleanliness, and maintenance.
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, regulators and the public.
