Job summary

Spotlight is seeking a capable retail leader to support daily store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will drive sales, manage stock, and lead a team committed to outstanding customer service.

The role emphasizes visual merchandising, KPI attainment, and proactive problem solving within Australasia’s largest craft, fabric, and home interior group.

Qualifications

• Strong retail leadership experience preferred.
• Visual merchandising experience.
• Physically capable to handle large volumes of stock and set the pace.
• Owner's mindset for your department.
• Passionate attitude that inspires your Team.
• Resilient and innovative problem solver.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• IT competency; willingness to be trained in First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in managing daily operations.
• Monitor daily stock recovery in your department.
• Achieve sales growth and meet department KPI targets.
• Build your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Lead by example in all areas.
• High volume stock management.
• Execute department Visual Merchandising and standards.
• Launch and plan catalogue campaigns.
• Stock integrity initiatives to increase department profit.
