Job summary

Rising Sun Pictures in Adelaide seeks a Production/HR Coordinator to optimise casting across multiple projects, balance team experience and development needs, and induct new crew into studio processes. Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal casting of artistic talent across the studio, through the scheduling and prioritisation of resources across multiple projects
• Work with Head of Department to balance team experience, skills, and development needs
• Induct new crew into production and department processes
• Manage and report on department overtime and TOIL to key stakeholders
• Develop and oversee leave strategies considering utilization, cross-show demands, and artist wellbeing
• Conduct regular check‑ins with crew
• Lead processes for team performance reviews, feedback, and identifying professional development opportunities
• Approve timesheets accurately and keep internal systems up to date
• Participate in interviews and contribute to department hiring decisions
• Provide regular reporting to Management
