Job summary

Dental Members Australia is seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to join our Adelaide team on a 9-month maternity leave contract, starting November 2026. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and patient care across the practice.

You will coordinate administrative and financial functions, rostering for four surgeries, liaise with suppliers and specialists, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of dental admin/management experience.
• Experience coordinating high-value treatment plans and finance options.
• Strong knowledge of dental practice operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with the clinical team.
• Proficient with practice management software and IT systems.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and experience.
• Qualifications in practice management are highly regarded.
• Ability to build and sustain a high-performing team of dentists and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative and operational aspects of the practice; reception duties required.
• Supervise staff including dental assistants, receptionists, and dentists.
• Manage finances: invoicing, payroll and reporting.
• Coordinate complex patient treatment with specialists and anesthetists.
• Liaise with suppliers and the dental community to maintain relationships.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
• Roster for 4 surgeries and reception; Monday–Friday 8–5.
