Job summary

Dentsply Sirona in Sydney is seeking an experienced Equipment Sales Specialist to drive the sale of our dental equipment portfolio across NSW. You will manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact to installation, demonstrations, and contract negotiation.

You will build long-term partnerships with dental professionals, coordinate with technical service and support teams, and maintain accurate CRM records while pursuing new business opportunities and tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in equipment, technical, capital or solution-based sales.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end sales process.
• Experience managing a geographical sales territory and achieving sales targets.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to explain complex equipment and software solutions clearly.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and project-management capabilities.
• High levels of personal drive, initiative and commercial judgement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a territory plan to achieve annual sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable equipment and software solutions.
• Deliver professional product presentations and demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and finalise contracts.
• Coordinate the sourcing, delivery and installation of equipment.
• Project-manage customer orders in partnership with technical service and sales administration teams.
• Provide after-sales support, including product application and maintenance guidance.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and activity records in the CRM system.
• Develop tender proposals and support other commercial submissions.
• Keep customers informed about new products, technologies and innovation opportunities.
• Attend exhibitions, conferences and customer promotional events.
• Monitor market activity and maintain current knowledge of competitor products.
• Provide sales leads and collaborate with other product specialists to grow the broader Dentsply Sirona business.
• Report on sales activity, market trends and customer feedback.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and proactively report identified risks.
