Dental Care Mount Barker is seeking a friendly and motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. This role combines clinical assisting with front-desk duties to create exceptional patient experiences at reception.

We offer a full-time position across a 9-day fortnight with a varying day off to suit the practice's needs, supporting patients and the team while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience as Dental Assistant and/or Dental Reception preferred.
• Strong patient-care and customer-service focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, reliable, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and clinical team during patient appointments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain infection control standards.
• Sterilisation and clinical compliance.
• Welcoming and supporting patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage patient appointments and recalls.
• Answer phone enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Process payments and health fund claims.
• Support day-to-day practice operations.
