Dentalcare Mt Barker is seeking a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist for a part-time position. You will split time between chairside assisting and front desk duties, supporting clinicians, booking appointments, and processing payments.

Qualifications

• Has previous dental assistant and/or dental reception experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a busy environment.
• Organised, reliable and able to multitask within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting dentists with a variety of clinical procedures.
• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standards.
• Sterilising instruments and managing clinical stock.
• Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression.
• Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries.
• Booking and managing appointments.
• Processing payments and health fund claims.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Working closely with the team to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
