Job summary

National Dental Care Surfside Dental in Torquay is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant/Receptionist to support clinicians and front desk operations. You will deliver high quality clinical and administrative assistance while engaging with patients in a positive and professional manner.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a dental reception/assistant role, MS Office skills, and familiarity with D4W; a Cert III/IV in Dental Assisting is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist.
• Sound computer literacy skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Dental 4 Windows (D4W) knowledge (preferred).
• Cert III and/or IV in Dental Assisting (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality clinical and administrative assistance to practice clinicians.
• Engage with patients in a positive and professional way.
• Help ensure the front desk runs smoothly with scheduling and reception duties.

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist in our thriving Surfside Dental practice, you’ll play a key role in clinical treatment. You’ll confidently and expertly provide high quality clinical and administrative assistance to practice clinicians, as well as engage with patients in a positive and professional way. Your energetic nature and strong organisational skills will help to ensure the ongoing success of the practice and the satisfaction of patients.

Skills & Experience

You have:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist
• Sound computer literacy skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite
• Dental 4 Windows (D4W) knowledge (preferred)
• Cert III and/or IV in Dental Assisting (desirable)

You are:

• Highly professional, with a polished image and good personal presentation
