The opportunity

We are looking for Dental Assistant / Receptionist team members who enjoy variety and are happy to work across both clinical assisting and front-office reception.

We have opportunities for:

• Full-time: 4 days per week.
• Part-time: 2-3 days per week.

You’ll play an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly, supporting our dentists and ensuring every patient receives an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door.

What you'll be doing

Dental assisting

• Chairside assisting across a range of general and restorative dental procedures.
• Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials for patient appointments.
• Maintaining high standards of infection control, sterilisation and clinical presentation.
• Supporting our dentists to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Working with modern dental equipment and technology, including CEREC.

Front-office reception

• Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional first impression.
• Managing appointments, patient enquiries and incoming phone calls.
• Processing payments and handling general administrative duties.
• Coordinating patient flow and supporting the team to keep the day running smoothly.
• Helping deliver an outstanding patient experience from booking through to treatment completion.

Who we’re looking for

The right person will be friendly, organised and proactive, with a genuine passion for patient care and teamwork.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous dental assisting and/or dental reception experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, approachable manner and a strong focus on customer service.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Initiative, reliability and a willingness to help wherever needed.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and the wider team.

Experience in both dental assisting and reception would be highly regarded. However, we're equally interested in the right person who is keen to learn, develop their skills and grow with the practice.
