Job summary

Bupa Dental Miranda is seeking a Dental Assistant to join its 6-chair clinic located at Westfield Miranda. This permanent part-time role covers Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, offering a dynamic team environment in a busy Sydney suburb.

You will support safe clinical care, manage infection control, and assist in procedures, while delivering excellent patient care and maintaining a clean, well-organised treatment room.

Qualifications

• Ideally 6 months’ experience working as a Dental Assistant in Australia.
• Provide chair-side assistance for dental professionals including suction, passing instruments, mixing techniques and assisting in x-ray procedures.
• Clean and prepare the treatment room and dental instruments in accordance with infection control standards and clinic procedures.
• Follow defined service quality standards and work health and safety policies to ensure high quality, safe services.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of safe clinical care and dental procedures.
• Maintain infection control and sterilisation of dental equipment.
• Prepare and tidy treatment rooms and instruments for procedures.
• Assist in x-ray procedures as required.
• Build rapport with patients in a cheerful, professional manner.
